Reno scored as PFA lose

   PFA    2-3 Kerma FC
Fizu
Reno

A very much changed side of PFA tackled Kerma FC in a friendly match in Padang Panglima which ended a 3-2 defeat to PFA. A large turn up from the PFA players made a two different sides of PFA in each half giving them an enjoyable workout since the last friendly match in April.

Daniel started as unusual right-back with Aziz made the left-back role. Ameng and Nabil made up the two center-halves pairing and three midfield maestros in Dillah, Ninak and Sofian Chachie combined together in the middle of the park with Najib alone upfront.

PFA made the more promising start, crisply zipping the ball about in the opening exchanges and strictly gave their opponents any chances in the first period. They created quite an amount of chances to score and could have taken the lead on many occasions but it was Kerma who opened up the scoring with just one single chance and PFA undeservedly trailed behind.

As halftime approaching, PFA made an almost entire team changes for the second period. It was much more open game as PFA in search of equalizing goal and Kerma had only been playing counter-attacking football. Kerma managed score the second to bridge a gap from their counter-attacking style and caught PFA once again.

PFA then immediately pulled one back as Fizu’s strike hitting the back of the net. Reno was handed his bow as a second-half substitute, playing just under half an hour and the youngster wasted no time in proving himself as he made a goalscoring debut, receiving a joyful reception from PFA players.

As the scoreline was 2-2 nearing to the clock, Kerma managed to sneak the winning goal from a set-piece and game’s ended 3-2 win to Kerma. It was quite a pleasing workout to all players before heading to Ramadhan in two weeks time and thanks to everyone who turned up for the game today!
