PFA responded with a dramatic fight back after they had
trailed down twice in the first period. Adidas scored a stunning opener with a volley
from the left flank. PFA then equalized from a corner as Fizu headed home into
the net.
Just few minutes after the equalizer, Adidas restored the
lead again and scored after a defensive mix-up at the back. PFA controlled the
contest, but had to wait to equalize after few attempts when Daniel drifted
into space behind Fizu’s pass and found the back of the net with a low finish
following a speedy counter-attack.
Daniel fired PFA into a 3-2 lead after a short-range shot in
the box when he crept into the space inside the box. PFA added the fourth when
Daniel’s pinpoint pass found Fizu bursting forward and struck through past the
goalkeeper. With half-time approaching, Fizu completed his hattrick as he
scored again from a corner with a low-powered volley. Half-time score 5-2 to
PFA.
PFA produced a commanding start to the second period when
Alfie’s free kick saw an effort cannon off the underside of the crossbar with
Dillah scored from the rebound to make it sixth. There were tons of chances in
the second period for the both side with Adidas scored the consolation goal to
make the fulltime score 6-3.
