PFA edge back on track

PFA edged out close win as Sg Liang's Family Team were dispatched 2-1 on Sunday afternoon. PFA were denied an early dream start when a right-foot drive from Daniel was tipped wide. The game was developing into an open affair as both teams like to keep the ball and PFA could have scored in few occasions.

Just 25th minutes had elapsed when PFA got their reward for a lively opening, Daniel bypassed the opposition defence and placing an angled finish beyond the keeper after being set up by playmaker Duan. It took a goal-post denial to prevent Qayyum making it 2-0 after he lashed a shot from the left.

A defensive error allowed the opposition time and space to navigate the PFA’s backline that lead to the equalizer after a neat piece of combination play minute before half-time.

Half-time changes saw PFA changed almost the whole lineup making way for fresh legs and there were many strong challenges/tackles going on in the second period. PFA’s second goal came when a swift counter-attack saw Bebek free into space who made no mistake with a drilled effort.

PFA’s final chance of the game fell to Aziz, who cut inside after a dribble down the left before firing wide over the crossbar.
