PFA cruised into Semi
PFA 2-0 Kerma FC
|
Ipin
Daniel |
Two goals from Ipin and Daniel sent PFA through to semi-final of PBDB FA Cup 2013 at Padang Kompleks Sukan Mumong. The goalkeeper’s failure to held the ball inside his own penalty area gave Ipin the chance to open the scoring early in the second half.
PFA, who started with two upfront instead of playing their preferred 4-5-1, struggled to perform in the first half due to playing under scorching heat condition at 3pm. There were a couple of crunching hard tackles from Kerma which saw few of them got booked.
The first half was practically even as both sides lacked a killer touch up front but both Bebek and Daniel went close with couple of efforts but it went wide. The weather condition in the second half injected life in to the PFA team as they dominated the second period.
Daniel was sent through by Nameng as he rounded the goalkeeper before slotting in to an empty net to notch the second goal of the game and PFA can breathe. There were nervy moments of Kerma coming back into the game but PFA managed to hold into fulltime win 2-0.
